Terms & Conditions

RISK OF LOSS

All purchases of physical items from Original Air Group are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. You may speak with a sales associate and ask for your shipment to be “Adult Signature Required” (Additional carrier fees will apply) or have your items delivered to your place of business or where you will be available to accept the package.

BACKORDERS

Despite our best efforts, some parts may be out of stock. We will generally charge you at the time of the original order and ship the missing item prepaid as soon as possible. Your invoice will be noted “back-order” for any parts that were out of stock. Backorders can be canceled at any time, unless already shipped. If backorder is canceled please allow 30 days for refund (corresponding discount price for system or kit components).

MISSING PARTS

Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you believe you are missing a part or parts, or if anything has been damaged, call us immediately. You must call within five days of receiving the order. Failure to call within five days for any shipping issues could cause delays or denials of claims and replacements.

DAMAGED PARTS

All damage resulting from shipping is the responsibility of the carrier. Keep all packing material with the box and parts.

It is imperative that you keep and return all packing material to the carrier, as failure to do so will void the claim. Immediately notify the carrier and then call us with the invoice number from the package label. We will be glad to assist you in filing a fast and accurate claim with the carrier.

Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

Once in transit, orders may not be cancelled.  All special orders and electrical parts are non-returnable. All other parts may be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange. All accepted returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping charges incurred on your purchase are not refundable as part of your cancellation, return or exchange.  Missing parts must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order. Please call or email for authorization before returning any part. All returns must be uninstalled and in undamaged factory packaging so we may resell the parts as new.  Refunds on properly returned merchandise will be credited to customer’s account and refunded via the original payment method. Allow 30 days from date we receive returned merchandise to receive a refund.

INTERNATIONAL DUTIES AND TAXES

For all International orders, all shipping charges, duties and taxes imposed are the burden of buyer.

WARRANTY

Original Air Group warrants that the products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, driving conditions and service for a period after the invoice date as follows:

  • Rebuilt/Restored Parts – 90 days
  • Upgrade Kits and All New Parts – 1 year
  • Original Systems – 1 year

ALL WARRANTIES WILL BE VOID ON ANY PRODUCT SHIPPED WITH A SERIAL NUMBER IF STICKER IS REMOVED.

Our obligation under this warranty is to Repair or Replace the defective part at our discretion. We are here to help! If you suspect a part is defective, call us immediately. If we determine the parts need to be returned for warranty evaluation, we will issue an RGA. All returns must be packaged properly and insured. We will not warranty merchandise that is damaged in transit due to improper packaging.

Upon obtaining an RGA number, you may ship the parts back to us. Include a copy of the original invoice, write “WARRANTY” on the box, and call us to arrange the return of the products. We are not responsible for labor, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind.  This warranty is void by misuse, alteration, improper installation, accident or neglect, including installation of any refrigerant or additive other than R12 or R134A.

RECONDITIONED CONDENDSERS AND EVAPORATORS: Because we cannot inspect the internal condition of evaporators & condensers during the reconditioning process, we can only guarantee that they are internally & externally clean and are leak free at the time they leave our facility. If a condenser or evaporator that we reconditioned leaks within 90 days, Original Air will extend a warranty consisting only of credit toward the purchase of a new replacement or duplication service for an identical or similar part.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, ORAL OR WRITTEN, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND USE FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Warranty is non-transferable should the car be purchased or sold.

Shipping Policies

Our standard shipping policy is to ship all orders Ground, but we do offer faster services at an added cost. Just let your sales associate know or select the appropriate method during checkout on the website. We will be happy to ship to a different address than the address provided for the billing information—Just ask or indicate online.
